Urge poles are made to be the toughest available : made of a stretched (not seamed) special aluminium, they are tougher against twisting and nearly unbreakable. Urge is so sure of these tubes' toughness that they offer lifetime warantee on them ! The basket is pretty tough too with its monobloc aluminium ring, its size brings plenty of support in deep snow. About the grip, it's tubular shaped without any fingers places so you can move your hand to the top of the tip when pulling particular grabs, this shape still is very comfy for hands thanks to the grip's double density. Arno Adam Pro's tube features a big diameter and is neoprene wrapped on the top. It allows you to hold it lower when you're crossing a steep slope or during an approach walk for example.
Les bâtons Urge sont conçus pour être les plus solides du marché : formés d'un aluminium spécial étiré (et non soudé), ils sont plus résistants contre la torsion et quasiment incassables. Urge est sûr de la solidité de ces tubes au point de les garantir à vie ! La rondelle est robuste elle aussi avec son anneau de renfort en aluminium monobloc, sa largeur offre une très bonne portance en neige profonde. Quant à la poignée, elle est de forme tubulaire sans empreinte de doigts pour pouvoir déplacer la main sur le haut du manche sur certains grabs, malgré cette forme elle offre une excellente prise en main grâce à sa double densité. Le tube du Arno Adam Pro est de fort diamètre sur le haut et recouvert d'un manchon de néoprène. Ceci vous permet de prendre le bâton plus bas quand vous faites une longue traversée sur une pente raide ou lors d'une marche d'approche par exemple.
