Founded in Mammoth, Ninthward got its name from New Orleans' district where the brand's creator grew up. After designing skateboards, Ninthward started producing skis in 2003, followed by snowboards in 2006. Contrary to lots of mainstream brands which were making piste skis and then smelt the money that freestyle could make them earn, 9thward got inspiration from its skateboard and hip hop roots to create skiing's most hardcore collection, based on promodels and 100% freestyle.
Fondé à Mammoth, Ninthward tient son nom du district de la Nouvelle Orléans qui a vu grandir le créateur de la marque. Après avoir conçu des skateboards, Ninthward s'est lancé en 2003 dans la production de skis, puis de snowboards en 2006. A l'inverse de nombreuses marques grand public qui faisaient des skis de piste puis ont flairé l'argent que pourraient leur rapporter le freestyle, 9thward s'est inspiré de ses racines ancrées dans le skateboard et le hip hop pour créer la gamme la plus hardcore du marché du ski, basée sur les promodels et 100% freestyle.
